PayPal is the US-based company which facilitates the online transfer of the money by the user of the PayPal account to any other person located at any corner of the world, like other digital services PayPal is also protected through a password.

Thus this service also needs to get its password recovered when it doesn’t open by the user but sometimes the password reset process doesn’t work for some users.

Reasons and Solutions for non-working of the password reset process
  • Paypal account is hacked. If the PayPal account is intruded by any other person then the user can’t access the PayPal account as the password of the account is changed by that hacker, in this case, the user needs to recover PayPal account.
  • The cache and the cookies. If the PayPal account is overloaded with the cache memory and the cookies which are present on the browser through which you are trying to access the PayPal account then the user may face some problems thus the user needs to delete the cache.
  • Impediment created by Virus. If the device which is used to access the PayPal account have any harmful or malicious element then it can hamper the working of the PayPal website.
PayPal password change process
  • Visit the online portal of PayPal and log in to the PayPal account.
  • Click on Profile and visit the Password section then select Change.
  • Select the option Password and click on Edit.
  • To verify the ownership of the account, answer of some security questions and click on Submit.
  • Enter “current password” and then create a new password for the account, click Save.
